Ep. 15: The Hole
Note: For best listener experience, headphones are suggested but not required.
Howzit going? Aloha and welcome to Ghostlore of Hawaii: Paranormal Paradise! Thank you for tuning in!
Tonight's tale originated from a story I heard long ago that happened to a boy while he was out on a hike in the jungle. Growing up in Hawaii, it was common for us to get into trouble while playing outside, unsupervised. So getting into a scenario similar to what tonight's main character goes through was very possible, meaning, suffering the very same fate. That thought terrified me as a child. I'll elaborate at the end of the tale....
So thank you again, I'm so happy you're here. Whether our bonfire is at the beach or camping in the jungle, it always means so much that you're taking the time to hang out. So kick back, make yourself comfortable, grab drink and some pupus, and let's get into this.....

I'm linking Glen Grant's Wikipedia page as I may have heard a version of this story from one of his tales. If not Grant's tale, he's still such an important author/historian everyone should read his stories!

One of those "mom and pop" restaurants I imagined the characters meeting at, the iconic Cafe 100 in Hilo (although their seating is all outdoors). Check 'em out if you're in Hilo. They're famously known as being the 'Home of the Loco Moco.' IYKYK
